Dr. Patricia McCormack, IHM

Dr. Patricia McCormack, IHM is an international formation-education consultant and public speaker. She authored the “Parent Partnership Handbook” series for Today’s Catholic Teacher magazine (1996-2016), numerous other articles, the video series: Parent Chat with Sister Pat, (Bayard, Inc.), and thirteen books. Her most recent publications include Middle School Mayhem (Twenty-third Publications) and a trilogy of Parking Lot Parent books (Twenty-third Publications). Other popular titles include: Resilience & Self-Reliance – Key Pieces in the Self-Esteem Puzzle (NCEA, 2019), Embrace the Mission – Be the “I” in Evangelize (NCEA, 2018), and Parental Love Is . . . (The Pastoral Center, 2016). Additionally, her ministry includes parent presentations as well as workshops, retreats, and days of in-service to the educational community. Her style of public speaking blends Catholic spirituality, psychology, and wisdom gathered from parents, teachers, and students.
