Monsignor James Oliver is a priest of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia and currently serves as Vice Chancellor and Pastor of Saint Bridget Parish. Born in Connecticut in 1959 his family moved to the Archdiocese in 1964 where they still reside. Ordained in 1988 he felt a call to know God more deeply from an early age. While there can be many calls a person has in life the call to “be still and know that I am God” is most profound. He enjoys sharing his experience of prayer as relationship with Jesus and thus the Trinity and ideas from masters of prayer through the ages.
