Sr. Antoine Therese Lawlor, IHM

    Sister Antoine Therese, IHM, serves as the Vice President for Mission and Ministry at Immaculata University (IU). She is in her fourth year at IU leading prayer at multiple school events. She gives mission reflections to faculty, staff, and holds random mission conversations with individual or small groups of students on the IU campus. Sister Antoine’s background includes Catholic elementary teaching and administration, diocesan administration, and diocesan pastoral planning with ministry in Pennsylvania, Virginia, and New Jersey. She enjoys giving talks and retreat work, writing, and spending time with her sister Mary Ann, who is a Good Shepherd sister. Her hobbies include watching baseball, doing jigsaw puzzles, crocheting, and art. She earned an Ecumenical Doctor of Ministry degree in Spirituality in 2005 at Catholic Theological Union in Chicago where she was a Cardinal Bernardin Scholar. Prior to her current position, Sister Antoine served as Assistant to the Vice President and Academic Dean at Catholic Theological Union for 10 years. Incidentally, Pope Leo IX, a native Chicagoan, earned his MDiv at CTU in 1982.
